This guide walks through the Farmakom licence renewal process for pharmacies in Northern Cyprus from start to finish.
What is Farmakom, and why renew the licence?
Farmakom is the automation software that runs a pharmacy's daily operations: medicine information, stock tracking, e-depot transactions and medicine usage labels.
The software's medicine information database is continually updated — new medicines are added, prices change, withdrawn products are flagged. Licence renewal is what keeps those updates and the technical support coming.
A Farmakom installation with an unrenewed licence keeps working, but it no longer receives current medicine data or support.
Which package should you choose?
There are four options, and the choice is simpler than it looks.
If you already use Farmakom
The Migration to Farmakom Online 2026 package is for you. It covers the Medicine Information Program, the E-Depot Module and the Medicine Usage Label Program.
If you are setting up new, or want two years at once
The New Farmakom Online 2026 package includes one terminal user and the 2027 licence update free of charge. If you are thinking two years ahead, this package works out better.
If you use a different program
The Migration from X Program and Older Versions package is exactly for this. We support you with transferring your existing data.
If you work from more than one computer at once
This is where the additional terminal comes in.
What exactly is an additional terminal?
This is the most misunderstood point, so let us be plain.
A Farmakom licence determines how many computers can be logged into the program at the same time. A single terminal licence means one computer at a time.
If your pharmacy has one computer at the counter and one in the back, and both are used simultaneously, you need an additional terminal licence for the second one.
If you have two computers but never use them at the same time, you do not need an additional terminal.
How do you pay?
Pharmacies in Northern Cyprus can pay their licence fees directly to Mahir Bilgisayar.

Installation and training
We handle the installation after the licence is delivered. If you are moving to a new version or coming from another program, data migration and staff training are part of the process too.
Common questions
When does my licence expire, and how do I find out? Call us and we will check your record.
What happens if I delay the renewal? The program keeps running but the medicine information is no longer updated. Working with out-of-date prices can lead to errors that are hard to correct later.
I changed my computer — what happens to my licence? The licence belongs to you. We handle the installation on the new machine.
